I implemented my tree structure using the nested library. I didnt use the recursion part as my OBJECT(as opposed to FILE object in eg) is constructed in a different manner. Anyway, it all works fine and THANKS for the great piece of work. Is there anyway I can get the OBJECT from the SESSION. B'cos, MonkeyTreeBean is an ActionForm and REQUEST object is not availble for the constructor of ACTIONFORM(correct me if 'am wrong). Initially, I tried to grab the object from the SESSION(request), but, I had to change the code to get it from STATIC variable as I didnt know to access the REQUEST object from ACTIONFORM. Let me know if there is a way I can access request.getSession(false) from ACTIONFORM's constructor. Thanks, -Pani. >...scroll down and do the turorials under "JSP Recursion & TREES!".
