3. 'Orang STT sudah pada IJO..?...karena itu HP STT Di
proyekkan..?
Let me explain here especialy to (with honour) mr Nurain and mr HAmin. If
there is a project inside STT and the fund donated by stt itself (LPPM), the
lecturer get nothing since they have paid within their salaries. They don't get
paid but stt equivalent/convert it into SKS calculation. And it also happen for
this HP-project.
I know this from chief of hp-team. He explained that at that time, there
was an education fair and stt has no hp to showed off. So, since funds of LPPM
still available, it used for setting up the team comprise of people from TI, TE
& IF also students, to build stt-hp as quick as possible. So, where the fund
goes to..?mainly, it used for material and students as assistant of this
project. And, students who work for this project also member of
Witessa/Wirasada, that's why maybe there is witessa's name at stt-hp. For
furhter inquiries, why don't you ask Mr Budi Praptono ([EMAIL PROTECTED]) as Ka-LPPM or witessa
by yourself..?I believe they will be happy to answer your questions.
Can u imagine, when u have already work and sweat without paid, then
someone just easily accused u as 'mata duitan alias IJO',,,? But,
fortunately, he (the chief who actualy sit nearby me when I wrote this) doesn't
take this personally, but why don't we try to be more calm before we
accused/prejudice for something we don't like but we don't know for
sure..?
4. The TAking Over of Web/Mail
server from AII Labs.
Before, Dinarto said that :'Apakah telah LUPA dengan PERDEBATAN
tentang PENGAMBILALIHAN penanggungjawab jaringan intranet dan internet di STT
TELKOM dari rekan - rekan AII - (yang telah dengan susah payah dan GRATISAN -
membangun jaringan yang ada) - oleh OKNUM Yth Bpk . . . dan Yth Bpk . . .

Actually, after I had several interviewed, I conclude from they
comments that the main reason is because it seems that AII can not
distinguish between STT operational purpose and your research need. Because you
change the server frequently as your experiments, it disturb internet
performance within the campuss. I frequently had this problem, sometimes the
server down, my email or relatives couldn't send me theirs email,..so on. And
the worst thing, after Idul Fitri holidays while the server still down, the labs
has been locked out by the assistant and he/she brought the key with him for
holidays (Mudik, Red). This caused all internet connections was being
disconnected for about 2-3 weeks. Since many people has already considered this
as a vital needs, off course this 'accident' really piss them off (sangat
mengesalkan mereka, Red). I heard, they (Puskom) has to open lab's door
with crosscut saw (Gergaji, Red)...can u imagine that..?
So,..for the future, also after interviewed with them, like Johan said if
there's still unused IP Address, stt will distribute this IP fairly, ones
for research and others for operational purposes only.
OK,..thats all what I can say for now and we will fix the hp as soon as
possible and still,..loking forward for your comments as our precious
feedback.
