Thank you for reporting this issue and supplying example files.
There was a bug in the moveToXY function which is now fixed in the latest
development version.
You can get this here:
http://sumo.dlr.de/wiki/Downloads#SUMO_-_Latest_Development_Version
(windows binaries updated tomorrow)
regards,
Jakob

Hi Jakob,

thank you very much for your answer

about your question I can give you more explanation

1- I use sumo version 0.27

2- I use Traci-Python, also with the native Interface from Sumo

4- In this Case I didn’t used opposite overtaking.

I send you in the attachment the .net file and the used additional file for the
speed limit. In the .xlsx file you can see the value of position (x,y) and also
yaw. In the picture “part_of_python” you can see the part of python where I
used MOVEtoXY. I every step I get in the line 307, 310 313 new laneind, laneid
and Edgeid. And also new tx, ty and yaw position (line 316).

Thank you very much for your help.

Best regards

Christian

Wow,
that looks quite strange and the most likely explanation is a bug.
- what version of sumo was used?
- which TraCI client library was used?
- is this behavior deterministic?
- was opposite-overtaking taking place in this simulation?
It would help if you could supply the net.xml file that was used along with a
set of moveToXY parameters that can be used to reprodue one of the mis-location
instances

Jakob

Hi everyone,

I do a co-Simulation between Sumo and another Program. I take the position from
this program to set it in Sumo. For this reason I used MOVE To XY (with
keeposition 0) in Traci.
But sometime I have another position in Sumo that I can't explain why it's
happened.
In picture trajectory (see attached docs) I put the trajectory of Car in the
both program.
Can we explain this difference with a teleporting from the Car. Or how can we
explain it? Could you also tell me what I can do against this effect ?
Thank you very much for your time and hope to read you very soon !

Best regards
