All are south vertical dials ! , with gnomons at 45 degrees ! which greatly puzzle the locals trying to read the time.
It is on a Pub, with the name of ------------ SOUTHCOT ---------
I first saw it (on my daily journeys to work) long before I knew anything about sundials, and it took me a while to realise it was a pun on the pub name.
ps There has been a lovely round shining object in the sky the last few days, lovely and warm, I believe it can be used for telling the time by. !
