When such a thing happens to me, I tell my users to logout,
and when in the Solaris login screen, do a "CTRL-ALT-DEL"
(it seems as though they've been doing this all their life ;) )
so that another search-for-the-least-used-sunray-server sequence
begins and another less-charged server greets them again.
Warm-restart will stop the active sessions.
For my own curiosity, when a process uses 100% CPU, I'm used to
"kill -9ing" it, what was your situation that required a reboot ?
