However, we have updated the existing community patches to be compatible to the 2.6.31 kernels of Ubuntu 9.10. So have a look at http://wiki.sun-rays.org/index.php/SRSS_4.2_on_Ubuntu_9.10_%28i386%2C_amd64%29#.289.29_patch_and_build_the_required_kernel_modules to get the kernel modules of SRSS 4.2 patched to work with kernel 2.6.31.
