Yes, I guess you're right. Oracle's suits will still be taking home their
bonuses.

"Corporate I.T." has gotten so bad anymore that anytime I see an "I.T." guy
wearing a tie, I automatically assume he's a total idiot. That assumption
has turned out to be correct most of the time.
In thirty years of doing this kind of work, starting well before the term
"open source" was even coined, I've always gotten the best quality, the best
support, and the best results from free software. Conversely, I've always
gotten the least quality, poorest/slowest/least-clueful support, and overall
most disappointing results from commercial software.
Sun Ray has been great, and it has had a long run as a product, but it
could've gone on for decades longer. Oracle's clueless management has
screwed us once again.
