Hi Brian,

I bought a S900 a couple of months ago. When it arrived it would not
boot. It came on and hummed but nothing else. I tried everything and
did what everyone was suggesting even tried the pram battery and no go.
Luckily I was planning to upgrade to a G3 400 mhz processor so I decided
to try that and when I changed out the processor the otherwise dead
system ended up being a bad processor card or daughter card as I think
that is what they are called on the S900. If you have an older card or
another that you could change out to check it with it may prove worth
while. Of course, you may have already tried that since I am getting in
on the back end of this discussion.

I hope you find a solution!
