The card looks ancient. I remember the glory days of Radius, however long that lasted.
They lasted quite a long time. And they made some great products. Along with Daystar they were one of the companies that put some really nice engineering into their products to make them reliable and compatible.
But that was back in the days when they could get $2000 for a single card.
Their first PCI video card (so I've read) used their latest NuBus chipset with some kind of PCI to NuBus bridge on the card and performance suffered considerably. Plus the entry of larger volume PC card makers into the Mac market when Apple went PCI was probably quite a shock to Radius's way of doing things.
Their Thunder IV GX is still the best NuBus card that was ever made, or perhaps tied with the Villagetronic MacPicasso 340. But the 340 came out a couple of years later and it still only manages to keep up with the Radius card, not out do it.
