Derf,

You might need to explicitly apply power from the SCSI bus to the drive
[jumper across pins 2 and 4 of J01] in order for any of the pins to work.
Also, check that single-ended operation is "forced" [SE; but I don't see
that in the data sheet, perhaps the drive itself has those pins labeled].
