Will, I've been meaning to ask you this for a while ... what issues have you had with OS 9.2.2? I finally got around to installing it using OS9 Forever - cleared off my boot partition, did a clean install of OS 9, then 9.1, 9.2.1, and finally 9.2.2. My main reason for going there was to upgrade to Final Cut Pro 3/DVD Studio Pro 1.5. So far, I'm finding it pretty flaky, particularly with MS stuff (Office, IE, etc.). I have occasional (verging on somewhat regular) finder crashes when going up to the application menu to switch apps, and recently have a scenario where the mouse disappears behind the windows and I can't select anything in any window or in the Finder menu. I've trashed Finder and System preferences, but the quirks come back anyway. Some of the behavior is almost reminiscent of a virus, but I have done a complete scan with Virex several times and found nothing. Anyone else using OS 9.2.2 with similar problems (or not)? -- Gregg -- SuperMacs is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
