I've been wrestling with getting my 900 and the internet off and on
for about a month. I have a G4/400 with a USB card and am running
10.2. I bought a Best Data model 56USBP modem to hook up through my
powered USB hub. I share the hub with my 600 through a switch. The
modem works fine with the 600. When I try to use the 900 it says it's
dialing, then after a few seconds says it is disconnecting. It
continues to say it is disconnecting and won't stop until I reboot the
computer. I've checked with the tech line for Best Data. According to
them, I have it installed and configured correctly. According to my ISP
it is configured correctly.
Any help you guys can give me will be greatly appreciated. I need
to finish the migration from the 600 to the 900, but can't do that until
it is hooked to the internet.
Mike
