Would someone out there with a converted PowerColor Radeon 7000 mind scanning an image of the front and back for me and emailing or ftp'ing them to me? I need a fairly high resolution of 300 dpi so that I can see the very small components.

There have been some reports of getting horizontal hash out of some of the converted cards. I hypothesize that it's caused by malfunctioning support for DDC. DDC is a method by which the monitor informs the video card which resolutions are supported.

I have seen the horizontal hash problem on the Sapphire cards. Reports are that the problem does not exist on the real ATI R7000 Mac Edition. It's fairly rare in any case and seems more likely on older monitors.

Nancy kindly emailed me an image of the ATI R7000 card and there are components on it which are missing on the Sapphire near the video connector.

So the next step would seem to be to get an ATI R7000 to examine in more detail, but the retailers are all out of them.

So my next thought is, which camp do the PowerColors fall into? If they have the missing components, then I can just get a PowerColor and examine that. They're still available. If they don't have the components, then I still need an ATI card. The way for me to determine if a PowerColor card would be helpful is to examine a scanned image of a PowerColor card. Hence my request.
