Jack, I use a Fuji as well but it uses an XD card. By chance have you tried reinstalling the Fuji Software that came with the camera? I suppose there is a possibility that if the software pref got corrupted, it could corrupt subsequent transfers from the camera. Other than that, try Diskwarrior or Norton on the drive. You might want to store a clean copy to cd first as backup. Have you also tried opening one of the pics directly from Photoshop? IOW, not double clicking on a pic but having photoshop (or equivalent program) open and then opening the file from there. You might also try GraphicConverter, a Shareware download for OSX or Classic you can find at VersionTracker.com. One of the best graphics viewers out there. Hope one of these ideas helps...
