www.tallyns.com is a pro Camera Dealer in Indiana. Scott Tallyn does offer data recovery as a fee service from his website. I'd try the suggestion of trying to open the files via Photoshop, but if all else fails
Scott should be able to help. The process is much like a bad HD recovery, the information is there, the location and address are corrupted.Since the card isd a memory chip it should be less involved than the Cleanroom recovery of data from a drives' disks, but does require skill and special software. Ask for a quote on what recovery will cost. Paul C

I apologize if this is the wrong list to ask this
question, but I currently writing it on a S900.

I have a problem with several corrupted pictures on a
smartcard from a Fujifilm camera. I was able to
successfully copy the pictures to my harddrive and
they show up as regular jpegs. When I try to open
some of them from the harddrive or the smartcard for
that matter, I get the following error messages:

Couldn't display this #jpeg because it is corrupted.

or

Couldn't display this # jpeg because a suitable
grapahics importer could not be found.

I would really like to recover some or all of these
pictures if possible -- they mean a lot to me. Is it
possible? Any suggestions would be greatly
appreciated.

Thank you,

Jack Law
