Hi Eric,

To get the full performance, an extension and a control panel need to be
installed. These activate the daughter card L2 cache and disable the cache
on the mother board. If memory serves you can download these from the OWC
(macsales.com) web site. I haven't tried it myself, but others here have
used the comparable inits from other manufacturers, which would be necessary
in OS X. YMMV.
