I can't get OS X to install on my S900. I get up to the actual Install step on
the OS X installer (Panther) and it hangs on "Processing Base System 1" every
time. Any ideas?

I sent the below email to OWC owner Larry. He has taken Sonnet to task before for their sleazy Marketing. If I had bought one of the G4 700 or 800 upgrades . I'd be getting my money back or I'd be looking into a class action law suit. Sadly there may not be a large enough number of Umax owners with these cards to mount a class act suit or for it to be worth while. I will post any reply from Larry @ OWC. Will S
Yet another member of the Supermac list has been bit by the Sonnet G4700 & 800 upgrades. Sonnet and OWC continue to market these as compatible with the Umax J700 and S900 machines. I know of no one who is able to use these upgrades with OSX . They do work with OS 9.x
Sonnet usally tries to sell their OSX software first and then continues to sandbag the poor sucker who bought the upgrade. They have to know full well they don't work as a lot of people have had this issue. Looks like another in a long line of marketing tricks by Sonnet.
