Hey Dan, That stuff happens to me once in a while too, i used to panic and reinstall the OS.
then one day, i just restarted an it's fine, so maybe just restarting is ok. I'm currently running this OS and it's happened to me once and like u, i've restarted and everything since then, (about 3 weeks ago) has been peachy keen. btw. i've heard horrendous things about using Norton, esp. on the MacFixit forums. they just trash it over there. I don't use it, cause Norton clearly killed a harddrive in an S900 at one of my previous jobs half a decade ago. we just sat there and said, "wow" it's dead. ever since then, i don't trust em. --- ansberry <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > I have an S900 G4/450 with 800+ megs of ram, an 80 > gig ATA hard drive > partitioned into 3 sections with OS 10.2.8 on one > partition, 9.1 on one > partition, and 8.6 on the third partition.
