Did UKAW complain? My impression from your initial post was that it did simply nothing. > UKAW is now working perfectly again - Pheeeeeeew! ;-) I suggest that you use the UKAW patch tool to avoid it's annoying header munging: > MAILER: CrossPoint/Agent [FreeXP] v3.40 RC5 @ 1611051002 R/C24108, via NNTP ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ The patch makes sure that the headers "X-Mailer:" and "X-Newsreader:" are kept untouched. This is also crucial for the "User-Agent:" header that I intend to create in the near future. This header has to follow a specific syntax and UKAW would destroy this syntax. > X-Nntp-Client: XPAgent/UKAW v3.50g (84.92.137.54); (c) by 'www.gohel.de' This header is not created anymore. Furthermore headers set by FreeXP's UUZ such as "X-RFC-Converter:" are not deleted anymore. See also <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> in d.c.s.c and thread. The patch tool is available here: ftp://ftp.freexp.de/freexp/clients/ukawp.exe After applying it, you should send 'clean' RFC headers as with other clients.
