I've been able to download SM 2.0 useing SM 1.1.18, copy the .dmg to my MacBook Pro, and have been running 2.0 on it for a few days.

But as a workaround, try downloading the image using Safari - one sure way to get around something broken is to use something else.

Then install SM and start using it.  Let us know what you get...
