Different Strokes for Different Folks. I can't imagine using Tabs. The concept is as foreign to me as walking around on the moon. And as useless as it is to me in the browser, its absolute nonsense in mail and news.

I have enough trouble concentrating on one thing at the time, having to deal with all the tabs .... I just not as hip as you young folks. At 60 am getting close to being over the hill.

Well, I'm 67, and I LOVE tabs. Every morning I pop open a bookmarked set of 24 tabs in a "weather window": weather forecast sites, FAA NOTAMs, TAFs, satellite loops, and weathercams. Then I open another window with the NY Times and the local paper - pretty soon, it's has 5-10 tabs of headlines, editorials, columns, and letters to the editor. Then I open another window to do some product searches, receive some links from emails, get a dictionary definition, and check out a location on a Google map.

I would drown in windows without Tabs!

I'm looking forward to tabs in email, but I'm going wait till December for the tide of problems to subside before switching to SM 2. I probably wouldn't have any problems - haven't in the past, but SM 1.1.18 is pretty darn good, so I can wait.
