I think it's best to keep this issue in the same thread, so if you ever
need to refer back to it, you just have to look for one thread.
If you have the same problem in more than one profile, then the cause is
probably system-wide (unless you installed the same add-ons in your new
profile).
One thing that is system-wide is plugins. Go to Help-->About_Plugins.
From the resulting page, tell us what plugins are listed.
