Some HTML files contain a header with an expiration date-time.  A cached
page is "out of date" when you attempt to display it from your cache
after the expiration.

Here is an example of such a header declaration:
<META HTTP-EQUIV="expires" CONTENT="Wed, 26 Feb 1997 08:21:57 GMT">
