Not clear from the NIS documentation. On my system, the option is there
and enabled (not grayed out), so maybe it's working. The web help
doesn't mention SM, though:

Much shorter version of the URL:

Even shorter version. Unfortunately TinyURL Generator is not available
for SeaMonkey.

What do you mean it's not available for SeaMonkey?

Well, when I go to AMO, and search for TinyURL Generator, I find this page.

https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/tinyurl-generator/

When I click on the Add to Firefox button, the extension downloads, and
I get an error message informing me that, TinyURL Generator could not be
installed because it is incompatible with SeaMonkey 2.7.

Also the install.rdf does not have a SeaMonkey code section, like this
one for Firefox.

  <em:targetApplication>
             <Description>
                 <!-- Firefox -->
                 <em:id>{ec8030f7-c20a-464f-9b0e-13a3a9e97384}</em:id>
                 <em:minVersion>1.5</em:minVersion>
                 <em:maxVersion>9.0a1</em:maxVersion>
             </Description>
         </em:targetApplication>

It was interesting that I got it to install, by adding one to the
install.rdf file, from a SeaMonkey extension. However it doesn't appear
to work.

That doesn't mean its not available for Mac. It just means the Dumb A*** that designed the extension for Mozilla didn't realize that the browser portion of SM the same Browser that's in Firefox. They just wrote it in such a way that only firefox can use it.

That's what infuriates me about extensions. The code used for the browser is the same SM and FF and SM and TB for mail, Why the Heck extension designers get a clue and make one extension for web browser that works on both SM FF or for the Mail/new for SM TB.
