Before I could try the suggestions provided here, a Windows update rebooted my office computer overnight (aargh, it's not supposed to do that!). This morning a SM window asked if I wanted to restore my previous session, which was odd because I never leave a session running overnight. I clicked "yes" and a button then appeared on the taskbar suggesting a session was running, but it wouldn't expand by left-clicking on it. So I right-clicked, selected "restore," and there was a SM browser window with dozens of tabs open, one for each time I tried to open a link or attachment from SM mail. I had opened and closed dozens of other SM browser windows over the past few days, but I guess that one was still running in the background, but not visible in the taskbar. Odd, but I guess the problem is solved, at least on this machine! _______________________________________________ support-seamonkey mailing list support-seamonkey@lists.mozilla.org https://lists.mozilla.org/listinfo/support-seamonkey
