I retype the post because of the "-- " reaction :-)

I get completely crazy about this "feature"

If i use as an HTML signature (between the lines full of "$"):
$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$
Raymond,
--
myfirstname mylastmane
myadress
myphone
$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$
SM add an extra "-- " at the beginning (before "Raymond,") ...grrr, so i find in about:config:
*mail.identity.default.suppress_signature_separator* from false to *true

and this action remove the extra "-- " - so far, so good.

Next item was that HOTMAIL ignore the "-- " so he quote all the text+signature when replying ..grrr...

Last item .....
When i use my html signature with(or without) the modification in about:config, there is ANOTHER problem in SM. When in that case, i SEND WITH OPTION "PLAIN TEXT" the mail with the signature well formed, SM add this extra string "*My Signature*" before the first character of the signature. This is completely STUPID !!! everybody knows that after "-- " this is THE signature.
