For those who have had to disable the blocklist
(extensions.blocklist.enabled) in about:config to get java to work: the
latest java version (1.7.0.21) seems to work with the default setting
(true). At least that is the situation for me in SeaMonkey 2.15.2.
Others may experience a different outcome.
Naming conventions for this software are weirdly inconsistent.
SeaMonkey's Add-Ons Manager calls it
Java (TM) Platform SE 7 U21 10.21.2.11
Next Generation Java Plug-in 10.21.2 for Mozilla browsers
The Java/Oracle website calls it
Java for Windows Version 7 Update 21
My Windows Control panel calls it
Java 7 Update 21
The Java Control Panel calls it
Version 7 Update 21 (build 1.7.0_21-b11)
And you call it 1.7.0.21.
Still, whatever you call it, the thing doesn't seem to be
blacklisted/blocklisted by the Mozilla system.
That's how they do it in filehippo.com,
