That does not address Ant's problem, which is with someone who is not
using Thunderbird or SeaMonkey and is sending messages to Ant.  The
sender has a problem in that he or she does not know how to embed
emoticons into messages that will be sent to non-Outlook users.

I assert that it is the sender's reponsibility to ensure that sent
messages can be correctly viewed by the intended recipients.  This is
not a SeaMonkey (or Thunderbird) problem, when we consider the effort
expended to make Mozilla and Mozilla-based applications compliant with
RFCs published by the Internet Society and specifications published by
the World-Wide Web Consortium.
