Newsgroups Read (or ctl-k) works in Thunderbird 52.7.0.
Selecting more than one newsgroup is not possible in SeaMonkey.
Shift-left click works fine for me, at least within one server
(m.s.seamonkey and m.d.a.seamonkey).
Selecting more than one works, marking all newsgroups read after
selecting them does not work.
