SM 2.49.4 is using 414,000K of memory in Task Manager. IE uses about

Windows 7 Ultimate SP1 x64
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:52.0) Gecko/20100101
        SeaMonkey/2.49.4
28 extensions

The Windows Task Manager indicates less than 132,000 KB with 2 tabs
open, including Web content.

The about:addons-memory indicates that SeaMonkey itself is using about
12,130 KB with only 1 tab open. The about:addons-memory extension
itself is the largest extension with 4,310 KB. Next largest is AdBlock
Plus with 671.5 KB. Four others each require 106 KB to 266 KB. All
other extensions are less than 100 KB. These sizes exclude Web content.

Thus, the content of Web pages -- text, images, scripts, etc -- is the
major factor in sizing.

LinkedIn.com is the worse. Very slow, bloated, and a hogger especially with multiple tabs. :(
