versions, and have always had to associate the filter with the folder
it was moving the message to.
I think I got a pop-up warning, selected the folder in the drop-down,
clicked OK and they worked automatically from then on.
Well, I've solved it, though I have no idea why it was necessary. As a
last option, I deleted each of the filters and rebuilt them from
scratch. Now its all working again in both Seamonkey and Thunderbird.
Strange...
