[SUPPORT] Renewal Date Calculation

Is there a way to change the calculation of the renewal date from the first
dues payment to the last dues payment. For instance, I have a member who
first paid dues on October 1, 1998. They then paid dues again on July 15,
1999. By my thinking, they should be asked to renew their membership in July
2000, not October 1999. Do you recommend against this method? Will changing
the renewal date calculation have other consequences? Thanks.
