If I had the option of swapping OS's, your idea of FreeBSD would be good.
However it's a work machine and while I can get away with adding utilities
and such, I don't think I could get away with installing an OS that's not in
the MIS standards.
So unless/until I can find a Win 3.1 (or even a DOS) FTP server/daemon that's
freeware, I'll have to forego my little project. Thanks anyway!
