I could go into a long drawn out explanation about how cookies work, but
it would put most of the readers of this list to sleep. Suffice it to say
that although most sites claim they can only read the cookies they send
you, this is 100 percent false. Any site *can* read any cookie in your
system. Most of them don't, and most of them won't, but this does not
mean they can't.
