When I talked with the author of vmix 386, it was more about accessability
issues rather than actual registration policies/what have you. At that
time, he still had plenty of plans for the program, and most of them were
implemented by the time he got to version 2.87 which is the latest one
I've ever seen, or was it 2.85? In any case, I didn't talk with him after
that, though I had fully intended to register the program, and just never
managed to scrable up the funds to do so. <sigh> Ah well, these things
happen. Has anyone tried locating him on four11, or any of the other
internet search engines like people find? It's possible he's still out
there somewhere, and would be willing to release his source.
