Thanks, we'll check out both of these options, either one or both are
possible.  The motherboard has win95 drivers for *everything* sound, usb,
video, and who knows what else.  It's possible the problem could be with
them.  The memory was supposed to go into one of my machines, but when we
got her motherboard home, we discovered that it could only handle the
memory I had bought, and nothing else, and so I took her 72-pin simms, and
gave her my 64MB chip for her machine *growl* Ah well.  Anyway, after
reinstalling several times, it's still yelling, so we'll check out these
options.  Thanks for the pointers.
