Very simple: AUTOEXEC.BAT.
Most stores (etleast, over here) used to include Windows 3.x with
the newly bought computers. For the user convinience (I think),
they used to include the line: C:\WINDOWS\WIN.COM in the end
of the AUTOEXEC.BAT, by this making Windows to run once you
start-up the computer. This is, infact, what Windows 95 is doing
today, only its not using the AUTOEXEC.BAT - Its using COMMAND.COM.
