The first O S for me was dos3.3 on an apple 2 E, later switched to prodos8 on the 2 E. The dos3.3 on the apple did not make directorys, instead you had on root on the flopy and the number of files could become incredably numorous. Prodos on the other hand allowed you to make sub directorys, a really cool thing. Next O S was MSdos 5.0 on a zenith XT whith less than 640 K ram. That was befor I knew about screenreaders, I used to use batch files to redirect the out put to the screen to a spk device to read part of the screen or to read the whole screen. Vary awkward and cumbersum. Pete To unsubscribe from SURVPC send a message to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with unsubscribe SURVPC in the body of the message. Also, trim this footer from any quoted replies.
