Jonathan:
Look for local BBS which is a part of the fidonet. They
are a diminishing breed like the DOS :-) Fidonet has various
gateways into internet. The sysop could arrange email facilities for
you. In most cases their services are free. A few sysops may ask for
a small donation. You won't have to upgrade your system or software.
Mind you you may need to learn slightly different S.W.
If you become a "point" to your susop, all mailing can be fully
automated.
