Agreed.  Absoultely.  But...

Indeed we do have a corrupt system.  And at the risk of getting
hordes of Boo's crashing down on my poor head - this is one of
the main problems of the "capitialistic, free-market system."
The general public good gets pushed aside and trampled on a lot
under the aegis of "what's good for business and the market *IS*
good for the public."  Ha!
