The three-pound 85-key Zenith keyboard that I've come to love has
finally started to go bad. I rebuilt a couple of the bad switches,
but this gave them a totally different feel from the other keys.
I've been using it on an Acer Pentium mobo for a while now, so I
decided to buy a new AT keyboard.
I got it home, found my old copy of CTRLCAPS and ran it,
_thinking_ I'd be happy then. No way. The touch is better, but
will take some getting used to. What I can't deal with is that
other than the Ctrl key (after CTRLCAPS), all the keys are in the
wrong place. Shouldn't the function keys be there when I reach out
with my left pinky? I still go to the number pad when I wish to
use the arrow keys. And so on.
Anyone know where I can find a brand-new 85-key model for a PC?
Please?
Bob
