Old PC keyboards, the kind that have the function keys on the left,
are often found in flea markets in my neck of the woods for about
two dollars each. Some vendors have cartons just chock full of old
miscellaneous keyboards. Many of these are in very good condition.
Some have a switch in the back to set them up for XT or for AT
compatibility. Others are for XT only. My friends and I have bought
keyboards from such vendors and usually about four out of five
will work perfectly. Not guaranteed. You pay your money and you take
your chances.
