...it was my Toyota pickup that had the stuck-open dashpot, for the record!
That truck had an honest-to-goodness carburetor, BTW. The Escort wagon
was cheap and meets my meager requirements: good fuel economy, a 5-speed
transaxle, decent stereo, air conditioning, and enough room inside to carry
even more junk home to my basement! It's been good so far, tho...
