Hmm,
While it's true I run Win95 on occassion, it's been awhile since I used ScanDisk and 
Defrag...
I've been using a version of Norton Utilities for Win95 I've had anumber of years.  My 
guess
is you may need to go ahead and run ScanDisk again, thorough scan and be sure the
"fix all errors" is checked.  Look in the root directory for the "log", usually found 
on C:,
file name is C:\SCANDISK.LOG...read that with any text viewer, NotePad, WordPad etc.,
as that may give you some clues.  If nothing wrong found, run Defrag again and see 
what it
says.  If we still have problems, we'll take it from there, just make a note of any 
error
messages you find!
