I don't know if it's a graphics library problem or a problem with the new
Wmaker....but its noticably slower for me displaying large tiff backgrounds.
Overall the changes are subtle...but very noticable if you happen to use KDE
or GNOME (fully compliant now).  I only got the chance to run it for a
couple of hours last night...so I should have a better feel for it in a
couple of days.  I might recompile it with some different options to see if
it speeds it up any.
