  Correct, there are currently no term's available that will support
transparent backgrounds with the exception of eterm which I believe was
originally for Enlightenment. The majority of screen shots that you may
see that show transparent backgrounds are in fact cleverly aranged term
windows that give the illusion of transparency simply because they
support pixmaps.
  This is done by assinging the term window the same background as your
desktop by use of the -pixmap flag.
