There is no trick required....E-term will automatically change the position
of the pixmap so that it is the same as your background....if you move the
term it recalculates.


The majority of screen shots that you may
see that show transparent backgrounds are in fact cleverly aranged term
windows that give the illusion of transparency simply because they
support pixmaps.
