I dont know if the subject was already discussed, since I am just
arriving into this group. However here is the question.
After a few hours of downloading from download.com I got the 7 files
composing WordPerfect 8.0 for Linux.
I gunzipped and untared them (had to use switch -f with gunzip for gui01
to gui06)
Tried to run ./Runme and my terminal switched to PC graphics mode
becoming unreadable. A lot of lines was displayed and, I suspect, there
was one or 2 questions that just got Return has the answer.
I decided to stop with Ctrl/c.
Started X interface and, from xterm started agains ./Runme.
It asks if all the files were unziped/untared: my answer is "y".
It says "Nothing new to install" and stops.
Tried several to delete everything and restart the whole process, but NO
LUCK!
Can anyone help me?
I'm running SuSE 5.3
