Uhm, thanks, I already have 2.2...but:

Well, I for one, think that's a Good Thing it's being released NOT on 6.0.
I think 2.2 ( as I said in
another mail ) is bound to not be quite as stable as 2.0.36, and that an
os should ship with a 'proven' kernel. There have been some bug reports on
kernel, and some of the type of bug---'hey look what happens when I do
this ---whoolah: system crash' vareity ...:-) I could see people having
fits. I still think ( be this Linux or not --to whoever said that the
post release patch stuff was a M$ thing and not a Linux thing ) that 2.2
will be better after the first bunch of patches come out and it's run for
a while on allot of machines---hopefully dev boxes filing bug reports.
