If it does not work with s2ram -f (no capslock response), problem is
most likely in kernel, and needs to be solved, first (Stefan, can we
write this down into the intro?). init=/bin/bash is already minimal
modules, so you probably want to try the latest 2.6.18 + beeping
patch.
